WREN, also known as Sophia Perlee, is an abstract painter based in Charleston, South Carolina, creating pieces in the style of Psychedelic Maximalism. Her work is inspired by music and nature, creating a whimsical and dreamlike world. Each painting tells a story of legacy, love, and sound; the more you look, the more you step into the lives of the subjects she depicts.

I am WREN – a Charleston, SC artist inspired by music and memories. My work blends acrylic, cloisonné, clay, and digital media to explore connection, emotion, and personal storytelling.
I create custom pet portraits and abstract dreamy environments; each piece is a reflection of what moves me and/or the thoughtful details that depict what ‘makes you you.’ They represent the world inside my head – vibrant, detailed, and immersive. WRENpaint is where I limitlessly create and have an absolute blast.
